Thomas L. Penney

Thomas Lee Penney, 42, of Chesapeake Virginia, died in a tragic accident on Saturday, November 7th, 2020. Thomas was born March 12, 1978 in Greenville, North Carolina. He devoted
10 years to Virginia Marble Co., taxi driving for 5 years, a laborer for 16 years, and he worked at Berkley Machine Works Founder for 2 years. He was a very hard worker.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father Oral Lee Penney, mother Agnes Marie Penney, his sister Samantha Ricks, brother Monty Penney, 3 beautiful children Raven Applewhite, Alexus Penney, and Jaylen Penney. He also leaves many grandkids, 2 nieces, a nephew and his domestic wife Kelly Shad’e Kirby, and other relatives, and friends.

He was a wonderful, loving father, brother, son, and friend. He will always be in our hearts, and may he rest in peace.

Visitation and viewing for Thomas Penney will take place at Fitchett Funeral Home on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Because of the COVID regulations on gatherings, Thomas's funeral services will be private. Please check with his family as to your attendance. Thank you
