Thank you for visiting the Fitchett Funeral Home website. We have only one location in Chesapeake and that is at 1821 Liberty Street. Our family has served the Hampton Roads community since the 1950's. It's been over 60 years of FAMILY serving families. Presently Patricia Fitchett Baker and Brenda Fitchett Anthony, the daughters of Floyd E. Fitchett Sr., Shante Fitchett, granddaughter and Chauncey Foreman are actively working in the business to continue the Fitchett legacy. We also want to recognize Michael Baker Sr., son of the late Floyd E. Fitchett Sr., who always supports the family business here on Liberty Street. Beatrice Harrell, the last living sister of Floyd and Nat supported this legacy until her death in December 2017, and even at 105 yrs. old, she was committed to promoting and preserving the integrity of the Fitchett name at 1821 Liberty Street.
Fitchett Funeral Home was started in the early 1950's by the late Charlie S. Fitchett, who was later joined by his 2 sons, the late Nathaniel Fitchett and Floyd E. Fitchett Sr. Their legacy lives on.
