Shirley Jones

Shirley was born in South Carolina on September 15, 1949. She went home to be with the Lord with her family by her side on May 8, 2019.

Shirley was a loving wife to John Jones for 50 + years. She cherished her family and her friends. She was a loving mother to her children and was a mother figure to many others as well. She dearly loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren with all of her heart. Shirley touched a lot of lives and always had open arms filled with love to welcome people as family.

She is survived by 6 children: Sandra Clifton, Regina Keeling, Kimberly Givens, Mandi Swayze, Melissa Lloyd and Ashley Givens: 5 grandchildren; Cory Kappes, John Kappes, Stacy Myers, Alesha Givens and Isaiah White; her great grandchildren were Matthew Swayze, Alayna Swayze, Baby Swayze (Little Mae), Tianna Ashley, Landon Lloyd, Jaxson Lloyd, Adora McClenny and Destiny McClenny; Two living brothers Earl Fowler (JR) and William Fowler. Also a very special sister, Betty Jones, who passed on before her.

Memorial Services for Shirley will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019. Time 2:00 p.m. at the family home located 2360 Bugle Drive East, Chesapeake, Virginia
