Julia Lucia Murphy

Julia Lucia Martinez Murphy was born on March 23, 1937 to Dr. Abdon and Blanca Martinez in El Salvador. She peacefully entered into eternal rest to join those whom passed before her on March 5, 2021.

Julia loved to travel and enjoyed foods from all over the world. Together, Julia and her son, Charlie traveled and tasted the world. Together, they visited every corner of the world from Tibet and Mount Everest Base Camp to the Golden Triangle of India and the Ancient Palaces of Cambodia. Julia's extensive itinerary has also included Thailand, Vietnam, and all throughout Russia and Europe.

She departs to join in Heaven with her loving husband, Charles Murphy and other family members.

Julia leaves to cherish her memory, her three sons; Charlie, George, and Samuel (Mary); two sisters, Clarita and Martha; one brother, Abdon Martinez. She is also survived by three lovely granddaughters who loved her very much, Mirabelle, Sarah-Rose Lucia, and Ana-Sophia.

The family of Julia Murphy will hold a Memorial Mass in Portsmouth, Virginia in the near future to honor their mother's name and memory.
