Robert Richard Chandler

Robert Richard Chandler, AKA Junnie, beloved son, brother and uncle entered eternal rest on November 17, 2018. He was born on January 17,1951 to Robert Richard Jones, Sr. and Mary Jones.

Robert was a very decorated military man. He served 7 years as a Military Army Sergeant, 4 years in the National Guard, and received the honor of becoming a Green Beret. He was a very hard worker. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 31 years.

Robert had a heart of gold, sometimes to a fault. He would literally give you the shirt off his back if he had to. He lived always ensuring that the people in his life were okay. All you had to do was ask and he would go out of his way to handle whatever situation he was presented with. He was and will forever be appreciated for everything he did. Robert was called from labor to reward and will be sorely missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents Robert Jones and Mary Jones , two sisters Regina May Byrd and Eleanor Dianne Jones, one brother Melvin Chandler. He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers Gregory Jones, Larry Jones, and Anthony Jones and one sister Edna Forrest. Funeral service will be Saturday December 1, 2018, 12 noon at Fitchett Funeral  Home located 1821 Liberty Street.
