Brandon Celvon Burrus, affectionately known as "Shorty" 36, passed away on Sunday, October 28 in Norfolk, Virginia
Brandon was born July 31, 1982 in Norfolk, Virginia to Cleveland M. Craddock Jr. and Vanessa Burrus Robertson. He worked as a forklift operator at CHKD Thrift Store for 5 years and also at Sorrentino Mariani & Co. for six years, both in Norfolk.
Brandon, a loving and caring man was also a jokester. When he entered a room everyone knew a good time was sure to come. Rising to any occasion to assist anyone, he cherished the moments he shared with all of his family and friends. If we are take anything from his life, it would be to remain grateful, humble and joyful. Life is to be cherished and celebrated.
Brandon was preceded in death by his great grandmother Elizabeth Johnson, grandparents Mildred and Booker T Burrus and Carolyn and Cleveland Craddock Sr., two aunts Barbara and Phyllis Burrus.
Brandon left to cherish his precious memories his parents; Vanessa Robertson (Leon) of Norfolk, Cleveland Craddock Jr (Joseline) of Hampton, three loving daughters, Zhane (TySean) and Brandon Bagley of Norfolk, Denijah Burrus of Greenville, NC, three sisters Jessica Neville of Norfolk, Christian E. and Jessica L. Craddock of Hampton, one aunt Tonya Ayers (Sammie) of Norfolk, two uncles Junnie Burris of Norfolk and Steven J. Craddock of Hampton; a longtime friend known as a brother, Joe Reid; a special friend Jasmine Williams, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Please continue to keep his family in your prayers. His viewing will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 3pm - 5pm. His funeral services will be held at Enoch Church located 5641 Herbert Moore Rd. Va. Beach on Thursday at 12 noon.
