Priscilla Smith Hiers

Priscilla Smith Hiers, also affectionately known as “Candy”,   was born on February 15, 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia and departed this life on December 28, 2021.

Priscilla was predeceased in death by her mother Nettie Smith, father Reuben Smith, son Enrico Hiers and her brother Mitchell Smith.

After going back and forth to Norfolk General for several months, she never stopped fighting. She was one tough cookie; even the doctors admitted it.  Everyone knew that she was very outspoken and spoke her mind about any and everything.  She also enjoyed eating ice and “picking her pick”. She was so good at it, she used to make airplanes. She was very popular and will be truly missed by her family and friends

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving son Jermaine Hiers (Shanna); sisters Vicky, Karen, Chevelle, Patrice and Bernadette; brothers Wayne, Ricky and Mario; her grandchildren Marlisha, Alesha, Titanna, Patrick and Jayzier; her great grandchildren Taevon, Terrell, TyRianah, Tamiya, Tristan and Eric Jr.  Also a host of nieces, nephews,  family and friends.
