Mitchell Smith

Mitchell Smith was born in Norfolk, Virginia on April 27, 1957 and passed on October 8, 2021 after a brief stay in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was 64 years old. Mitchell was one that would give you the shirt off of his back. He was a great person, he was loved and will be missed by his family and his friends.   

Mitchell was predeceased in death by his mother Nettie Smith and his father Reuben Smith 

He leaves to cherish his memories, a long time friend Hannah Jones; his children: daughters Shameka Lewis (Aurelio), Shaundrica Hudgins (Earl), Tamara Valentine (Anika); sons Dejuan Lewis (Lamika), Mitchell Williams, Deshaun Jones, Anthony Batey (Michelle);  sisters Priscilla Hiers, Vicky Smith, Patrice, Karen, Chevelle, Bernadette,; brothers Wayne  Smith, Ricky Smith and Mario; also  a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
