Lucy F. Goss

Mrs. Lucy Frank (Lalalu) Goss, daughter of the late Sanderford Anderson & Nobbie Pulley Anderson was born in Spring Hope, NC on October 28, 1929. She attended Booker T. Washington high school in Norfolk, VA where she played basketball and developed a love for sports. Her favorite past time was reading, crossword puzzles, and caring for several pets. Lucy was also a former member of Lamberts Point Baptist Church. She had many names of endearment which were Lu, Lulu, Lalalu, Frank & Beans, & Grandma Lu. Lucy was strong will
and out spoken, generous & very loving toward her husband & family. She was known as a thoughtful and caring friend by those who knew her.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents and her Aunt Dink & Uncle Juba who raised her once she moved to Virginia. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, George M. Goss Jr; (adopted) daughter, Penny Hobbs (Freddy Hobbs); stepson Gregory Goss, (Va. Beach); step-daughter Sylvia Goss Wright (Texas); 3 grandsons Orion Goss (Tyisha Goss); Sherman Wright, Craig Bowman, and one grand-daughter Latricia Squire (Tim); and 6 great grand children. She also leaves 3 special cousins Gainell Congo, Brenda Harris, Sonny Harris and a host of relatives and friends. The family would like to acknowledge Vernon Boyd and Thelma Parsons for your love & support.

Public Viewing will be on Friday 4pm - 6pm at Fitchett Funeral Home, 1821 Liberty Street.

Funeral services will be private due to limitations on the number of people allowed in gatherings. Please check with the family as to your attendance.
