Janice was a very giving person; she always had a listening ear and was an advocate for helping those that needed assistance with home care needs. Janice’s biggest dream was to share her cakes with the world and she did that by starting her own business “Choose Janice Cakes.” Her famous “Rum Cake” was a hit with everyone.
Janice was predeceased by her parents, Johnnie and Marion, her brother Marvin, her sisters Gwendolyn and Ruby. She leaves to mourn her loss, a devoted nephew, Dr. Howard Gaines, Jr., Anthony Gaines (Tina), John Gaines, Bryan Gaines (Dani), Donnie Holloway, and niece, Denice Holloway, cousins and a host of relatives and friends to cherish her kind and loving memories and a very special cousin Ethel F. Johnson, Richmond, Virginia.
