It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of our loved one, Freddie Skinner. He passed away on Tuesday September 20, 2022 in his home in Norfolk, Va.
Freddie was born on March 24, 1957 and lived his life to the fullest. He was known for his high spirits and fast-talking conversations. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High school in 1975. He will be greatly missed.
He is predeceased by his parents Jacqueline Creecy and Calvin Skinner, Three brothers Calvin Skinner Jr , Gary Skinner and Kim Skinner.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory a wife Gail Skinner, Three children Tracy Church-Turman (Charles), Natasha Church and Brandon Artis. Three grandchildren, Three great grandchildren, One sister Carol Shannon, Two brothers Eric Shannon, Albert Poole and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Public viewing will be held on Monday September 26, 2022 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Fitchett Funeral Home 1821 Liberty Street Chesapeake, VA 23324.
