Ernest Admiral Carter

Ernest was born on 28 March 1979 to Jessie and Shelia Carter in Norfolk, Virginia and received his wings on 23 August 2020. In between that time his greatest accomplishments was being CEO of his own company Mind Grinders and fathering two beautiful daughters.

To know Ernest is to know unconditional love. He was loyal to a fault with a heart of gold. He loved everyone he came in contact with and they loved him back ten fold ! He was notoriously known to be a “ladies man”!

Ernest is preceded in death by his father Jessie, grandparents Willie Mae Carter & Jesse Deaner and Dewey & Mary Raye Fanning, his aunts Ernestine, Claudette & Lou and his favorite cousin Julius.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His Mom Shelia and Dad Archie Whitfield. Siblings Aljejandro “Tee” & Ella “Boo” Dukes; Children, Lexus Sanderson and Taliyah “Nuna Butt” McCallum;
Grandchildren, Ryan Blù, DJ and Isabella; Nieces, Ebone, Destiny and Samara; A host of aunts, uncles and cousins from his mom & dad sides of the family and "FRAMILY" (friends that became family).

Through all my sin, he still carried me to my Heavenly Father...love you bro.

Due to restrictions on gatherings, because of Covid 19, funeral services will be private.  Seating will be limited, please check with the family as to your attendance.

There will be a PUBLIC WALK THRU viewing on Friday, Sept 4th from 4pm - 6pm at Fitchett Funeral Home, 1821 Liberty Street. Cards for the family can be dropped off by the funeral home.
