Clinton F. Evans

Clinton Evans, beloved Husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend slipped into the arms of the Lord on January 13, 2021.

He was the son of the late Lucy M. Boone and the late Joe Clinton Evans and preceded in death by his dear sister Madie E. Barnett and brother Larry Darnell Evans. Clint served two years in the United States Navy, owned and operated E&E Construction and retired from SRM Realty after working for over 30 years as a General Manager.

He received Christ at an early age and was a member of First Baptist Church, South Hill. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Doris Evans, three sons: Aaron V. Evans (Jamy), Joseph “Steve” Eure, (Patricia) and Christopher Eure, (Leslie); two Step-daughters Kim Turner, (Reggie), Bernadette Bennett (Charlotte) and one Step-son Bernard Harrison (Bridget); one brother, Joe S. Evans (Gloria); three sisters, Louise E. Leemon, (Tuffy), Jeanette E. Smith (Melvin) and Doris E. Smith; one sister-in-law Julia Evans; one brother-in-law George Jeffries; nine grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
