Agnes Marie Penney

Agnes Marie Penney, 66, of Chesapeake, VA was called to heaven on October 25, 2022 due to unexpected heart failure. Agnes was born on February 27, 1956 in Norfolk, Virginia. She devoted over 20 years to Hills Home for Adults as a certified Nursing Assistant. In her last few months of life, her chosen church was Redeemed Church of God, where she rejoiced.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She will always be in our hearts and may she rest in peace, with her son Thomas Penney and brother Dennis Dunford.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 50 years Oral Penney, her children, daughter Samantha Ricks and son Monty Penney; her sisters Mae Bowman, Charlotte Silverthorne and her mother Edna Gay; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren
