Shepherd Nathaniel Rogers

Shepherd Nathaniel Rogers was born May 27, 1958 in Norfolk, Va.    He was educated in the Norfolk Public Schools System and graduated from Lake Taylor High School. He was employed at Smithfield Packing as a forklift operator for 20 years. He was joined in holy matrimony to the love of his life Roslyn Rogers and together they had three children. 
   

Shepherd was full of life, laughter and love. He loved the outdoors and spending quality time with his family, reminiscing about " back in the day". He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and love ones. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Constance Rogers, his sister Gail Rogers-Williams and his son in law Derell Stephens. He leaves to cherish his memories....

One daughter- 
       NaTasha Stephens  
Two brothers-  
         William Rodgers Sr. (Pam) and Earl Rogers Sr. (Terri)

And a host of loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brother in laws and sister in laws.

The family has requested that the public viewing will be only 1 hour from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday October 24.
