Larry Haliday

Mr. Larry Haliday, son of the late Frank Haliday, Jr. and Lillie B. Haliday was born August 12, 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia. He attended Norfolk Public Schools and worked as a mover. Larry loved the Lord and professed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord.

Larry quietly departed this life September 28, 2016 at Sentara Nursing Center in Norfolk, Virginia after a brave battle with cancer. Larry was loved by many and will be missed dearly!

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: son, Lejuan Marquis Parker and daughter, LaQuisha Cox both of Norfolk, Virginia; granddaughters: London and Paris; brothers: Earl Haliday of Newport News, Edward Haliday and Lenwood Haliday, Sr., both of Norfolk, Virginia; sister: Linda Alfreda Luckey of Norfolk, Virginia; aunt: Hattie Mae Saums of Raleigh, North Carolina; devoted family members: Ann Parker and Sherri Cox both of Norfolk, Virginia; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.

Mr. Haliday will lie in state Tuesday, October 4 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Fitchett Funeral Home, Liberty Street.

Homegoing Service will be Wednesday, October 5 at 12 pm at Fitchett Funeral Home, Liberty Street

The family will gather and receive visitors after the service at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Norfolk Airport - 1157 North Military Highway, Norfolk, Virginia 23502.
