Gwendolyn Gregory

Gwendolyn M. Gregory,  affectionately known as "Gwen", was called home on Sunday, February 17th, 2019, at Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth, VA. She was born, July 28th, 1956, in Norfolk VA, the daughter of the late Lillie Mae Montgomery and James Speller.
 
She attended Chesapeake Public Schools and Norfolk Community College. She graduated with a certificate in Geriatric Nursing in 1986..

Gwen had a beautiful smile, a fiery spirit and the best sense of humor. She was loved by many people that she encountered over the years.

She's survived by her daughters, Ma'Keytta Gambell and Rhea Gregory of Norfolk, VA, and Saleia Gregory of Williamsburg, VA. Five granddaughters, Mikeshia Jones, DeAvion Gambell & Aniyah Gambell, of Norfolk, VA, Samari Gregory and Christina Hallums of Chesapeake. Three Great-granddaughters, Karmyn Jones, Kaylani Jones and Kimora Jones, of Norfolk, VA , a niece, Sharonda Speller & nephew Thomas Speller.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Speller, and her parents.
