Beatrice Fitchett Harrell

Beatrice Fitchett Harrell, 105 (Aunt Bea), was born in Norfolk County on Nov 24, 1912. She graduated from Hampton University and later taught in the Chesapeake Public School System for 32 years. She was a faithful member of Providence United Church of Christ where she was a Deaconess, an organizer and a pianist for the Sunshine Choir.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Harrell, two sisters and four brothers. Aunt Bea leaves to cherish her memories her son, Charles B. Williams (Elaine); grandson, Eric Williams (Tiffany); great grandson, Eric; her dedicated niece & caregiver LaVerne Lawton (Primus) & a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives & loving friends.

A viewing will be held at Fitchett Funeral home on Fri. Dec. 15, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm. Her body will lie in state at Providence United Church of Christ from 10am to12 noon on Sat.,  Dec 16 with funeral service to follow at noon.
