William Alexander Clark Sr.

William "JC" Alexander Clark, Sr., a resident of Newport News, VA went home to his eternal rest on Sunday April, 17th 2016. He was born April 18th, 1952. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shelia V. Artis.

William was a retired Master Mechanic where he serviced members of the community for over 40 years. He was a member of Enoch Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA. He used his God given gift  in the music ministry, where he sang in The Men's Choir, The Gospel Choir and The Contemporary Choir.

William leaves behind his children: William A. Clark, Jr.  (Shetema), James E. Clark, Zanetta D. Fairley (Edward), and Jordon A. Clark. He also leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, James and Cora McRaft, brothers Michael A. Masden (Karen), Carl D. Masden, Kenneth L. Masden and sisters Bertha D. Masden, Tonya R. Pruitt (Cedric) and a host of relatives and friends.

William was loved by so many people and will be dearly missed.

Mr. Clark will lie in state Friday, April 22 from 12 pm to 7 pm at Fitchett Funeral Home, Liberty Street.

Homegoing Services will be held Saturday, April 23 at 11 am at Enoch Baptist Church – 5641 Herbert Moore Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
