Rickey Eugene Boyd

Rickey Eugene Boyd was born second son to the union of Norwood Boyd and Hazel Delaris Leonard-Boyd on April 16, 1951.

He was educated in Norfolk County school system and was drafted into the United States Army. After serving his term he was honorably discharged and resided in the city of Chesapeake until his demise.

He was preceded in death by his father and 2 siblings, Norwood Boyd, Jr. and Charlotte Yvonne Boyd.

Rickey was loved by so many people and will be dearly missed!

He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted son, Rickey Eugene Williams; one granddaughter, Kylie; mother, Hazel Delaris Boyd; three brothers, Anthony Boyd (Teresa), Christopher Romero Boyd, and Darrell Tyrone Boyd; one sister, Cynthia Delaris Parker and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Boyd will lie in state on Wednesday, May 25 from 10 am to 7 pm at Fitchett Funeral Home, Liberty Street.

Homegoing Services will be held Thursday, May 26 at 12 pm in the Chapel of Fitchett Funeral Home, Liberty Street.
