Lonell Alexander Anthony III

On August 23, 2017 Lonell Anthony III entered into eternal rest. Lonell Alexander Anthony III was born July 17, 1978. He was affectionately called "Man" or "Red" by his family and friends.

He was a native of Norfolk, VA. He attended Maury High School and obtained his GED from Tidewater Community College. Lonell was an experienced painter and was working towards his HVAC Certification. Lonell was very proud of his accomplishments.

He was a loving son, brother, father, friend, and the most caring person you could ever meet. Lonell loved his family with all his heart. He was adventurous and always lived his life helping others. He recently rededicated his life to the Lord.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Doris Hoffman, father Lonell Anthony Jr.; grandparents: Grace & Lonell Anthony Sr.; his wife: Satasha Mills; five children: Demont Jones, Tynaja Mills, Najja Anthony, Avery Mason, and Aloni Cooper-Anthony; three grandchildren: Vanessa Jones, Dorian Jones, and Tylen Mills; four sisters: Shamika Anthony, Jasmine Anthony, Latoya Anthony, and Janet Justice; and one brother: Kareem Anthony and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Anthony will lie in state Tuesday, August 29 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Fitchett Funeral Home, Liberty Street.

Family hour will be held Tuesday, August 29 at 6 pm at Living Faith Outreach – 3324 Sewells Point Road, Norfolk, Virginia 23513.

Homegoing Service will be Wednesday, August 30 at 11 am at Mason Memorial Church of God in Christ – 744 Goff Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510.
