Carrie Virginia Jackson Lundy

Carrie Virginia Jackson Lundy was born January 24, 1928 in Princess Anne County, VA to Robert and Carrie (Forbes) Jackson. She died March 5, 2017 in Goose Creek, South Carolina.

Her parents, nine siblings, husband (Jefferson Lee Lundy Sr.), baby girl and son (Jefferson Larry Lundy Jr.) predeceased her.

Mrs. Lundy's surviving loved ones are sons Ronald Leigh Lundy and Martin Wayne Lundy, a daughter Kathy Denise Lundy, a grandson Marcus Jerell Lundy, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She graduated from Princess Anne County Training School and attended "Little State" (Norfol;k State) College. She was a joyful, energetic, giving, civic minded person, a valued employee by several businesses in Virginia Beach, a former member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk and a Lifelong member of the Daisy Chain Social Organization.

In honoring her requests, no funeral service or wake was held and her private burial was on March 9, 2017 at Roosevelt Memorial Park in Chesapeake, VA.
